The first impression starts outside
For a hotel, restaurant or event venue, the first impression counts double. Before guests even step through the door, they form an opinion about your establishment. A few facade flags with your brand identity — at the entrance, on the terrace or along the driveway — immediately set the right tone.
In this article we explain how hospitality businesses can use facade flags smartly for a stronger brand identity, better visibility and a warm welcome.
Applications in hospitality
Hotel entrance and lobby
Two to four facade flags with your hotel logo at the entrance are an effective way to distinguish your hotel from neighbouring buildings. Particularly on busy city streets or near a conference centre, a row of matching flags immediately catches the attention of visitors arriving on foot or by taxi.
Restaurant and terrace
Facade flags are an excellent way to mark your terrace and separate it from adjacent ones. They also help with visibility of your restaurant on busy shopping streets, town centres or market squares. Combine your brand colour with your logo for maximum brand consistency.
Event hall and conference room
Welcome guests for a wedding, corporate event or conference with a personal greeting. Facade flags with the name of the occasion, the company logo or a special event element give the entrance a premium look.
Seasonal campaigns
A new summer menu, winter dinner or holiday promotion? Facade flags are a cost-effective and quick medium for seasonal promotions. You order the new design, reusing the pole and wall bracket — only the printed fabric needs replacing.
What colour and design?
Facade flags with sublimation-printed polyester give the sharpest colours and most vibrant result. For hospitality use we recommend:
- Use your brand colour as the background colour
- Place your logo large and central — a facade flag is not a billboard but a recognition marker that needs to be visible from some distance
- Avoid too much text — a logo + tagline (max. 4 words) works better than a full text
- Double-sided print is always the best choice: visitors walk past both sides
Size advice for hospitality
- Terrace or entrance (outdoors): the standard 150 × 100 cm stands out well; a larger size is available on request for maximum visibility
- Lobby or indoors: 150 × 100 cm, or a more compact size on request for an elegant touch without taking up too much space
- Driveway or car park: 150 × 100 cm or a larger size on request for impact from a distance
